An existing residence on a sprawling lakefront lot, the design aims to reinvigorate the home with a substantial interior renovation and complementary exterior improvements. A new attached garage anchors the front of the home and allows for a re-located main entrance under a minimal and contextual entry portico. A new entry covering at the side entrance and new window openings soften the approach and provide a sympathetic contrast to the sharp gables and clean lines. A new pool house mirrors the design language of the home and balances the site across the lakefront.
